21st October 2014 – Some summits….

No interesting birding tales to tell I’m afraid, and I’ve not had a sniff of a lifer now since February – well apart from a very scratty-looking Booted Warbler in Lothian which just didn’t get me going at all. So I’ve been bagging a few Wainwright’s on my days off instead. Sorry about that. Click on the pics for larger versions…

You have enjoyed some great days out the hills there by the looks of it. It also looks like you have been quite lucky with the weather as well.

    • Thanks Carl, I’m off work for a fortnight but the weather has turned ugly up here. I’m hoping to get some more fells done but it’s gonna be tricky, for me it’s not just about ticking the fells off, I really enjoy taking my time and enjoying the views, and of course trying to take some nice photos – so I’ll be disappointed if the clouds cover the tops.

Cracking photos mate, you have a gift and a good camera
