3rd October 2012 – Synchronized Spotshanks…

Back to work blues has set in. Especially after such a great week off last week. Ho hum. Nipped out on the patch before work this morning, but the weather was pants, I tried to avoid the showers but failed miserably and I got properly soaked – twice. Highlights being 600+ Goldies at Drumburgh, and 2 Spotted Redshanks at Port. Great birds to watch actually, they did everything together at the same time – preen, feed, stand still, fly. Synchronized Spotshanks. Marvellous.

And some Snipe not being particularly bothered about being seen for once…
